Get the installer
File name xixi-drama-1.73.1-setup.exe. The SHA-256 is published on the version page (Chinese).
Install in four steps
- Double-click the installer. Windows may show “Windows protected your PC”.
- Click “More info”, then “Run anyway”. The build is unsigned, so this prompt is expected.
- Keep the default install location — it is under your user profile and needs no admin rights.
- Launch the app, open Settings, choose a download folder and save.
First run
Pick a download folder first: episodes are stored as source / title subfolders, and merged files land in the same place. Everything else — theme, layout, shortcuts — can be changed later without touching downloaded files.
Updating and uninstalling
- There is no auto-update. Install a newer package over the old one; settings and history are kept.
- Uninstall via Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Xixi Drama.
- Uninstalling keeps your downloaded videos. Config and history live in
%APPDATA%\熙熙看剧.
This is a personally maintained free project without a code-signing certificate, so the first run shows an “Unknown publisher” prompt. The installer size and SHA-256 are published so you can verify the file before running it.
FAQ
Is there a portable version?
The source tree includes portable and ZIP build scripts, but this site only distributes the installer.
macOS or mobile?
The published installer targets Windows x64 only. Build scripts for macOS still exist in the source, but no Mac package is offered here.
